In the Name of the Most High, Beneficent and Merciful!

This is the Truth. There is some Divine predetermination in the fact that the crescent moon is the symbol of Islam and the minarets atop our mosques resemble spaceships crowned by the crescent moon.

This true sign has reached human consciousness through the centuries. The rational mind knows that the Omnipotent has power over every thing, and the Creator has ensured that everything shall happen in its own time. The Blessed hour has come!

We, DWELLERS OF THE PLANET EARTH, who believe in the ONENESS of God, in His angels, in His books, in His prophets, in the Day of Judgement, in predestination, will erect a Temple on the Moon, a true sign for rational people, a symbol of the unity of true believers throughout the world, a magnificent crown in celebration of the WAY shown by the Prophet, may the Most High bless and welcome him.

The Temple will not be made of bricks and cement, as is customary on Earth. The Moon Temple is a complex self-ejecting structure made using special materials and high technology. The Temple made on Earth will be transported to the Moon, the Most High being willing, where upon contact with the Moon's surface the self-ejecting mechanism will be automatically activated. This, if it pleases God, will be the beginning of an unusual project and unique event for the whole of mankind, as the specialists in the design office explained to us.

Equipment is being made to carry out regular radio and television transmission to the Earth and throughout space of the daily five-fold azan (call to prayer), as well as reading of the holy Koran and sermons by the spiritual leaders of the planet. The Most High being willing, Internet transmission will be organized from the Moon Temple. All those who so desire will be able to see the Moon Temple, the Moon's surface nearby the Temple and our planet EARTH on television screens and on the Internet by means of screens set up in the Moon Temple. There are plans to send a special copy of the Koran to the Moon. People have expressed the opinion that a Golden Book should be created in which the best goldsmith in the world will emboss and immortalize the names of the pioneers whose efforts and financial support made it possible to build this Temple on the Moon. This GOLDEN BOOK will be sent to the Moon along with the Temple. The tentative deadline for completing the project and erecting the Temple on the Moon is 2006.

While preparations are being made to erect the Temple on the Moon, we plan to invite prominent scientists and spiritual leaders of the planet to launch a worldwide campaign in the mass media in order to show Islam's true face and its creative essence. To make the silhouette of the Moon Temple recognizable and symbolic (as, for example, the star and the crescent), a contest will be announced for the best design of the Moon Temple and its architecture. The contest winner will receive a prize, a significant sum in keeping with the dimensions and significance of the project, which will pique the world community's interest in the results of this contest. We are sure that many contestants whose initial incentive for participating in the contest is only to receive the prize-money will unwittingly become immersed in the amazing spiritual world of true Muslim believers as they learn about the history and architecture of the TEMPLE. In the end, the hearts of most contestants will be won over, and they will gain much more than they originally intended, they will acquire something that even all the riches of the world cannot buy, they will acquire the Koran and faith in Almighty Allah.

Serving Almighty Allah, winning over the hearts and minds of people, and gathering more and more supporters throughout the world has a great future. By erecting a Temple on the Moon, true believers will turn a page in history, where they will write that they, in the name of Islam, were the first people in human history to erect a structure on another planet. And this structure is the House of Allah on the Moon!

Millions of people on Earth will turn their gaze to the beautiful splendour of the Moon, atop which sits a Divine Crown - the House of Allah. The doors of the Moon Temple will always be symbolically open to the hearts and souls of millions of earth dwellers who have acquired renewed faith, God, and the Koran.

As you know, terrestrial space is undergoing active exploration; Chinese people and Hindus are already making plans to fly to the Moon. Lunar bases will soon appear there as an intermediate stage leading to further space exploration, and hotels will need to be built to accommodate space travellers. We believe that affirmation of symbols of faith in Almighty Allah in space will help people to discover the mysteries of the Universe and make it easier for them to join together in the name of peaceful and progressive development. The magnificent silhouette of the House of Allah against a lunar landscape will unite and bring all the Earth's believers together in the bosom of Truth. TRUTH and ISLAM shall reign victorious and mankind will finally realize that the Moon is one for all people and there is no other deity than the One Creator.

Recognizing that our project is rather unusual, we have consulted with scientists, who support our idea and have confirmed Russia's technical capabilities for implementing this project in a short time, bearing in mind the colossal amount of work done with exploring the Moon. Preliminary consultations with all those concerned have been completed. Practical work is now under way within the framework of the Moon Temple project.
