REVELATION THAT LIGHTS THE WAY

Our brother Magomed had been in the operating room undergoing a serious operation for more than seven hours.

Our older brother Abdulakhad, a physician by profession, tried to cheer us up, assuring us that Professor Tamara Odariuk, a world-renowned eminence, would do everything for the operation to be a success.

Numb with worry, we, his brothers Abdulakhad, Asadula, and Djavad, and our friends, prayed to Allah the Merciful that He might bestow His compassion on us and see Magomed safely through the operation and restore him to good health.

I prayed fervently to the Almighty: “…Glory to You, O Allah, and praise unto You, I affirm there is no other God but You, I beg You for forgiveness and repent of all my wrong-doings. O Allah, open up Your gates of mercy, heal my brother Magomed. O Allah, bestow Your grace on him in the way You bestow Your grace on Your slaves. O Allah, You are my Lord and Master, and there is no other god but You, You created me and I will remain devoted to You as long as I live!..”

And in an instant, oh wonder, I lost all sense of reality. It was as though some super-powerful beam of light struck me in the eyes with its radiant brightness. I closed my eyes to shut out the blinding light, but this did not help – the celestial radiance continued to permeate to the core of my very being. I felt as though all the organs of my body had been pierced through and strung out on this mysterious thread of unprecedented light. And, as though continuing some conversation begun long ago and causing my whole body to tremble, a Voice said unto me: “And such ordeals shall pass, but your destiny is invincible! Your brother has not come to the end of the goodly provision provided unto him. He will recover. And he will stand by your side as you toil together to build a Temple on the Moon. This will be no easy journey. Your path, Asadula, is winding and rocky. And you will raise, you will erect a Temple on the Moon as a symbol of human faith. And the five-fold azan (call to prayer) for salvation will be heard throughout the universe. And the face of the Earth will change, becoming purified and transformed as the Day of Judgement and End of the World draws nigh;” this mysterious knowledge seemed to pour into my soul, into my heart, into every cell of my body. I asked, “How am I to build a Temple on the Moon? I have no power, I have no wealth, I have no knowledge. I am as weak as any other man.” And again the caressing Voice filled me: “Your Omnipotent Creator and Maker will fill you with strength and lead you on the right path. He has no equal. And He has no helper. Allah is Omniscient and All-aware. If you take one step, you will come ten steps closer to the Temple on the Moon. If you take ten steps, the true believers in the Day of Judgement and Allah’s mercy will bring you one thousand steps closer to your goal. And those true believers who brought you closer by even one step, either by word or deed, to erecting the House of Allah on the Moon, will find themselves one thousand steps closer to Allah. There are no bounds to Allah’s mercy. Allah is the All-Seeing and Fair Judge. Go boldly on your way. The road will lead you to the true believers, you will erect a Temple on the Moon. And it will be an exalted beginning… And there is no one who has the strength to stray or turn from the path marked out by Almighty Allah.”

…When I came to, I was shivering and covered in cold sweat. The clock showed 18:27. But my soul was filled with a radiant calm and peace (I cannot find another way to describe this unfamiliar state). The surgeons came out of the operating room. And we found out that it had been a phenomenal operation with a fantastically successful outcome.

Allah is truly Omnipotent, Glory to Allah! This is the first thing that happened in the chain of imminent events, predictions, and portents on my Journey, from which I will not stray one step while I have the strength to serve Allah the Merciful. Inshaalla (Allah being willing).
