THROUGH THE MILLENNIUM

THE MOON is the first station on man’s journey into space!
THE MOON TEMPLE is another step on the WAY to GOD!

One of the main traditions of believers is to build temples in the places they come to. The first planet on which man set foot is the Moon. The first person to step onto the Moon was Neil Alden Armstrong, and this step brought him to Islam. There exists genuine wisdom, which can be reached by years of searching, trial, and error. There exists a divine spark, which can illuminate us in an instant. Through thick and thin, come rain or shine, through the millennia, the Truth comes to us. For some this happens in youth, for others in maturity. For some the Truth comes as life wanes, in the golden-leafed fall. For others an entire lifetime is not enough to comprehend the Truth. And it has even come to pass that the Truth was found after flying to the Moon.

The mysterious beauty of the Moon!

There seems to be some divine predestination in the fact that the crescent moon is the symbol of Islam, and that the minarets of mosques resemble spaceships, crowned by a crescent moon and a star. This is the divine prompting of man’s path to salvation, which has reached man’s consciousness through the centuries in anticipation of his hour of revelation.

When I related about the Wondrous Radiance and the Voice that told me a Temple must be built on the Moon, that this is Allah’s path, Imam Absar Hadji al Daghestani, a scholar who graduated from Cairo’s Al-Azhar University, cried with joy. He lifted a prayer of gratitude to Most High Allah. Then he said thoughtfully, “Every single day I have heard the azan (call to salvation) five times. I have seen the crescent moon on the minaret. I have seen the divine prompting of the Path. But alas! There are bars on my eyes, and there is a lock on my heart. The minarets resemble spaceships. This is all true! If the Most High wills it, we will build the first temple on the Moon in praise of Beneficent Allah. When we parted, Absar Hadji al Daghestani, long may he live, told me that he wanted me to take this joyous news to Ustaz Sheikh Said Afandi Chirkeisky. “For my soul to rest easy and my heart to feel confident, I and my brother plan to go and see him tomorrow. Inshaala,” I replied, thinking of the high moral qualities of Imam Absar Hadji.

God has created an infinite multitude of worlds and beings endowed with reason, the crown of whom is man. I am convinced that when we affirm the symbol of man’s belief in ONE God in the cosmos, He will come closer to us. He will ease man’s path to comprehending the mysteries of the Universe and to exploring not only terrestrial space.

God created the world not for wars and violence, but for brotherhood, love, and benevolence. Building a Temple on the Moon will help to unite people on the path to divine, peaceful, and progressive development. It also presupposes the tempestuous advancement of the aerospace industry and, in the near future, priority development of a new type of space travel-pilgrimage. May this be pleasing to Almighty Allah.
